About Gorilla House
Several years ago while traveling through the cloud forests of Uganda, several young men from Chicago came across a band of gorillas. After several weeks of social acclimation, the men were accepted into the band. They learned to think, play, act, film, and write like gorillas.
We are those men.
We'll never forget those gorillas. This website, our comics, sketches, and movies, are the least we can do to keep the memory of those brave gorillas alive.
"I laughed so hard I shot milk out my nose" - Mark Twain
"LOL. Awesome." - Teddy Roosevelt
Will Haley
Will is a programmer by day and slacker by night. The biggest influences on his life are The Simpsons, Nickelodeon, and broadcast television. He likes to write and appreciates good stories and story tellers.
Alex Hoffmeyer
Alex is in it for the money. What is "it" you ask? Creating funny internet videos, of course! He went to film school, he doesn't have a lot of other options. Please, laugh and give him your money. If money is out of the question, he will accept reassuring hugs.
Ryan Linich
Ryan Linich is a motion picture editor and jack of many trades on a film set. He is currently working in the sports industry, but has a solid background in many genres of filmmaking. When not making movies he is usually making music with his band Number One Rival!...or watching Doctor Who.
Jack McGuigan
Jack McGuigan has had a variety of day jobs, from playhouse salesman to dog walker to billboard designer, but all he really wants to do is write comic books. He lives in Chicago with his future wife and dog, and is usually wearing a hat.
Michael Pokryfke
Mike "Po" has worked as an editor, motion graphics artist, gaffer, producer, writer, and director of photography on short films, music videos, live events, and commercials in the Chicago area. He also makes ridiculous sketch videos from time-to-time. You are here because you've seen the latter over all of the former, which is kind of funny when you think about it... But mostly deeply saddening.
